Annoucement on recent spate of wheelie bin fires and anti soical behaviour in Ordsall Park
"After the recent spate of wheelie bin fires, some positive action is/has been taken"
The council’s awareness officer and the team have undertaken a joint door knocking campaign with the Fire Service and the PCSO regarding bins left out.
The Fire Service are visiting the local schools to provide information on fire safety and discourage fire starting.
The Youth Support Service will carry out youth engagement work in the park to encourage the young people into more positive activities.

There are no more PLANNED community garden sessions arranged for this year as we move into the winter season.
However, we can (weather permitting) organise some ad-hoc sessions, dependant on volunteer numbers and interest.
We will now plan to return to the garden after the winter, below are the proposed dates for the first half of 2018.
